The Nature project offers us the simplicity of nature, proposing diverse images where water, be it visible or invisible, is the predominant element. Visible when it is the subject of forms, shadows and plays on light; invisible when it alters and shapes other natural elements depicted in the expanses of water in which they are reflected.
Both situations are unique and can never be reproduced with the same effects.
The constant movement of forms and reflections are thus locked in an image that captures a moment occurring in nature, frozen in a fragment of eternity that is destined to remain unique. It is from this reflection that the Nature project with its many images was created. Prevalent use of black and white features in the works, accentuating with its contrasts and reducing the real impact of every image, making it silent, immobile, like the freeze-frame of an action in progress.
A stillness that distinguishes and which, proposed as it is, emerges from the habitual speed imposed by the frenetic and unstoppable nature of modern life. A fragment that wants to impose itself in the spectator’s mind, even if just for an instant, to record the unique nature of a moment that will survives beyond that which happens in our real world.
